This Privacy Policy explains how the MusicLoud mobile application
(the “App”, package com.musicloud.app) handles information when you use it.
MusicLoud is a music player that lets you play and organize the audio stored on your device.
We have designed the App to keep your data on your device and to collect as little information as possible.
The App is provided by DesFlex (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using MusicLoud, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
To work as a music player, the App reads the audio files and related media (such as album artwork) stored on your device. This content is accessed locally on your device only so it can be displayed and played. Your audio files are never uploaded to us or to any third party.
Playlists, favourites, saved/downloaded lyrics, your library and playback preferences, and cached data are stored locally on your device (for example in the App’s storage). This information remains on your device and can be removed by clearing the App’s data or uninstalling the App.
When you open the lyrics view for a song, the App may send the song’s title and artist name to the third-party lyrics service LRCLIB (lrclib.net) in order to find matching lyrics. No personal information is sent, and once retrieved, lyrics can be saved on your device for offline use.
When you use the in-app search to find music, the App sends your search terms or the link you provide to our backend service so it can return results. To keep the service reliable and to prevent abuse, our servers may process your device’s IP address for rate limiting and security. We do not use this information to identify you personally.
The App uses Expo Updates to deliver bug fixes and improvements. When the App checks for an update, it contacts Expo’s servers and may send technical information such as your device platform, the App version, a randomly generated installation identifier, and your IP address. The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob and its partners may collect and process information such as your device’s advertising identifier (Advertising ID), IP address, device and operating-system information, general (non-precise) location derived from your IP address, and data about your interactions with ads. This information is used to deliver ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure ad performance, and help prevent fraud. Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your settings and consent.

The App uses Google Firebase (such as Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics) to understand how the App is used and to detect and fix crashes and errors. These tools may collect information such as app usage and events (for example which screens or features you use), a Firebase installation/instance identifier, your device model and operating-system version, language and region, approximate (non-precise) location, the advertising identifier, and, in the event of a crash, diagnostic data such as the device state and error logs. This data is used in aggregate to improve the App’s performance, stability, and features, and is not used to personally identify you. We do not sell your personal information for money. However, to show ads and analyze usage, the advertising and analytics partners listed above (Google) may collect and process information through the App as described in their own policies, which in some regions may be considered “sharing” or a “sale” under applicable privacy laws. Where required, we will ask for your consent (for example, for personalized ads).
Data stored locally remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Any technical request data processed by our backend (such as IP addresses used for rate limiting) is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for security and service operation, and is not used to build a personal profile of you.
We take reasonable measures to protect information processed by the App and our services. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
MusicLoud is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and our advertising and analytics services are not configured to target children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can remove it.
The App may be used worldwide. By using the App, you understand that any limited information processed as described above may be handled in countries that may have different data protection laws than your own.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes may also be communicated within the App.
